Who We Are
WarmTraceUFH is a specialist underfloor heating company based in Bristol. Founded by an engineer with over 12 years of experience in the UFH industry, the business was built on a simple belief, that homeowners and developers deserve a UFH specialist who actually knows what they’re doing, communicates clearly and stands behind their work.
We focus entirely on underfloor heating. That singular focus means we understand it at a depth that generalist heating contractors simply don’t. From the nuances of system selection in a challenging retrofit to the coordination required on a busy new build programme, we’ve encountered it all, and we bring that experience to every project we take on.
You’ll deal with knowledgeable, experienced people throughout your project. Not a sales team handing you off to a subcontracted crew, but the same specialist, from initial enquiry to final handover.

Underfloor heating is embedded in the fabric of your home. Done properly, you’ll never give it a second thought, it will work efficiently and reliably for the lifetime of the building. Done poorly, it can be disruptive and costly to rectify.
That’s why we take the time to specify every system correctly, explain our recommendations clearly, and install to an exceptional standard. It’s also why we back everything we do with industry-leading warranties, because we’re confident in the quality of what we deliver.
We have no interest in overselling. If a particular approach isn’t right for your project, we’ll say so, and tell you what is.
Our ApproachDesign first – always.
Every project starts with a proper design. Our fully indemnified CAD designs are produced in accordance with BS EN 1264 – the industry standard for underfloor heating – and factor in your floor type, heat source, floor coverings and room layout. We don’t guess. We calculate.
This matters because the design determines how well your system performs. A correctly specified system will heat your home efficiently and comfortably. A poorly specified one may underperform or run inefficiently – and correcting it after the floor is finished is far harder than getting it right from the start.
On site, we respect your home and your time.
Our installations are carried out with care and professionalism. We work to agreed timelines, keep disruption to a minimum and leave the site clean and tidy. On completion, you receive a full Homeowner’s Handover Pack covering your system design, component information and operating instructions.
After installation, we remain available.
We don’t disappear once the job is done. If questions arise during commissioning, when floor coverings are being laid, or once you’ve settled in and are using the system day to day — we’re here, and we’re happy to help. Most queries are resolved quickly over the phone. If a site visit is required, we’ll arrange one.
